My family and I had a wonderful 6 day stay in Israel in March of this year. We had a fantastic Israeli guide who I have remained friends with since then. My 12 year old son and I were invited to his home one evening and had a meal with his family.
It is one thing to read about the past 150 years of the history and the ensuing emergence of this land into a sovereign state, but quite another to visit. I highly recommend any readers to visit, and give yourself an opportunity to step into the past while at the same time being a part of the current history of the land of Israel. I promise you will not be disappointed.
